Supervisors Keep Full Pension, Risk Recall, Help Walker

The Milwaukee County Supervisors who declined in layoff ridden-Milwaukee to take a cut in pension calculations that others must take are a) risking a backlash, up to and including recall, and b) deflect attention away from Scott Walker's executive ineptitude.

What are they thinking?

Are they thinking?

Nice try James.

Somehow the unconscionable actions of the loser DEMOCRAT Milwaukee County Supervisors is Scott Walker's fault?

When have you ever expected the DEMOCRAT Supervisors to agree with or follow Walker on anything?

I should have my head examined for debating with an anonymous person, but Anon Jim: read more carefully.

For one thing, the supervisory positions are non-partisan.

For another, the grammatically correct term is Democratic, not Democrat.

Finally - - I wasn't blaming Walker for anything. In fact, I was blaming the supervisors for helping Walker politically.

Do I have to explain everything?

My apologies James, I thought it would be clever to mis-represent what you had said to elicit a response from you - but obviously that was lame on my part.

And yes of course the Supervisor positions are technically non-partisan, but unless you can point out over a third of them that are not Democratic party members, I will stand by that.

Regarding the Democrat/Democratic issue, that was unintentional.

I realize that has been a bone of political contention in the past, but I never expended the space in long term memory to remember which was considered the proper form and which was considered something of derogatory term. Having been properly corrected by you, I should now.

As far as my anonymity goes, I hope you do not think I am some kind of public person in any way, shape, manner, or form. Am just an average 3rd generation Wisconsinite trying to make his way thru life with a minimum of government interference and who treasures his privacy.

I remember you said you worked in the city and lived in the suburbs west of Sunny Slope Rd.

Does your belief in limited government extend to opposition to the governments that build the roads, train the police, maintain fire stations, construct the drinking water and sewer systems, staff the health departments and enforce regulations in all those agencies, and more, that help keep you safe, healthy and mobile in Milwaukee, on your way to and from, and in whatever community you call home?

And the same being true on a national scale when you travel out of state, or to a foreign country?
