Mayor Wants Road Widened At Water Diversion Boundary

New Berlin's Mayor wants Calhoun Rd. widened to four lanes from the rebuilt two lanes approved by the Common Council there.

Calhoun Rd. borders the very, fast-growing section of New Berlin - - the so-called middle third of the city including the large industrial park - - to which diverted Lake Michigan water is ticketed.

And where an estimated $1 billion in commercial, industrial and residential development is possible.
