Bush May Veto Great Lakes Cleanup Funding

Media are reporting that President Bush may veto funding for Great Lakes cleanup and related water quality projects.

Hey, why bother with any domestic spending?

But there's money enough for $12 billion a month for the Iraq and Ahghanistan wars - - which means the Great Lakes and its neighbors can continue to fend off Asian carp and literally eat mercury, ammonia and every other pollutant dumped into the lakes by Bush's corporate allies.
