Bringing Up the Recount Rear, Waukesha County Needs To Get Its Act Together

71 Wisconsin counties are done with their State Supreme Court recount - - including counties larger than Waukesha- -  but Waukesha is less than a third done.

Once Waukesha County drags itself across the finish line, the Government Accountability Board needs to release the findings of its probe into the election-night vote counting and reporting there, and Waukesha County voters need to get busy removing Clerk Cathy Nickolaus from office.

Nice try Jimmy.

If Milwaukee were actually scrutinized, you know it would be even longer!

Did you mention that Dane won't make it in time either?

And, perhaps, if your leftist pals wouldn't challenge every unactionalbe aspect of the recount, it could have been done on time.

Nah, you leftists are doing all that you can to DQ Brookfield and other communiies in Waukesha County.

You would rather throw out votes until you can overturn the results that you don't like.

Well, that isn't going to happen, but we will learn from this and fight back in spates next time.

Wow. Have you guys over-done it!

Is the GAB doing its job? I don't hear or see any status reports, statements about the integrity of Waukesha's procedures, or really any reporting of their oversight role -- at all. What gives?

Surprised Kennedy kept that job after signing a no-bid contract with Accenture to handle the contracts -- that was immediately after Arthur Anderson/Accenture was exposed for fraudulent accounting practices in the Enron aftermath. Not much good judgement there in my view. I'd have to go back and refresh my memory to verify the details, but it seemed to display the appearance of extraordinarily poor judgement, given Accenture's willingness to fix the books under the Enron and other scandals.

It may be that everything's kosher, but at minimum it calls for wider discussion, an open process and consideration of alternative vendors.

No one listened. Now we have this.

Dept. of Tiresome Facts

From MJS 5-6-11

All counties but Waukesha expected to meet recount deadline.

On Thursday, the Government Accountability Board thought that Dane County would need an additional day beyond the deadline to complete its recount, but that no longer is the case, Reid Magney, a board spokesman, said Friday.

It's the Klopp gang that is slowing up the recount in Waukesha by challenging every vote they can. It's funny how the Dems scream about voter ID disenfranchising voters and we can't let that happen but their main goal in the Waukesha recount is to disenfranchise as many voters as possible. The ends justify the means!

It's funny how wingers screaming about voter fraud believe a holy habit grants one absolute trust when it comes to identification.

Let's just declare central city Milwaukee one big cloister and be done with it.
