The already-impaired Black River runs through the forested wetland scheduled for conversion into another Kohler top-shelf golf course near Sheboygan, so people interested in how an 18-hole golf course can improve the river might want to get involved in this Skype and comment opportunity the DNR is touting:
DNR to hold public comment period and informational webinar on draft 2016 impaired waters list
As previously announced in an October 27 press release, a public comment period will be held on Wisconsin’s draft 2016 impaired waters list until November 25, 2015.
Also, an online public webinar will be held tomorrow, November 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM to provide information about the Clean Water Act regulatory framework for identifying and restoring impaired waters, process for developing Wisconsin's impaired waters list and the proposed listing updates.
