Wow, streetcars ride again even though they failed in the 1950's Do they run on solar or wind power ? Hopefully no coal power or hydro from Canada
@Anon. 7:56. Street cars went away in the 1930s through 1950s due to buyouts and dismantling of the systems by a consortium of tire, auto/truck, and oil companies who wanted to wipe out any competition. Also private autos and gasoline were more affordable for lower and middle class Americans than they are now. And, a lot of the gasoline you use in your car comes from Saudi Arabia so what's your point?
