Some Major League Ball Players Support Boycotting All-Star Game, Moving Spring Training From Arizona
I had suggested a few days ago on this blog that Major League baseball pull its spring training games out of Arizona.
Seems that Adrian Gonzalez of the San Diego Padres thinks the same thing.
He's a marque player.
Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen also said he would not attend the 2011 All-Star Game, set to be played in Phoenix.
This will snowball. Bud Selig, baseball's Commissioner, needs to speak out.
27% of Major League ball players are of Latino descent.
Longer story here.
