On Waukesha Water Politics

In this Journal Sentinel editorial, the paper makes a good point: the city could be considering alternatives to the Lake Michigan option, even though it has sent its Lake Michigan diversion application to the state in a messy, closed-door process.

Waukesha's water utility and the aldermen, together with former Mayor Larry Nelson, were hell-bent-for-leather after Lake Michigan water but did openly search and consult with several local companies that treat water worldwide- - so at least give new Mayor Jeff Scrima credit for beginning that process.
