Jim Burnett, Former NTSB Chair, Passes Away

Count me among the writers who will mourn the death of Jim Burnett, a former chief of the National Transportation Safety Board.

Burnett was an accessible, reasonable and completely-dedicated public servant with whom I spoke many times when I was writing about aviation safety.
