Plenty of blame to go around for Wisconsin and Milwaukee not being on the list.

Helen Bushnell said...: Could the money be going to states that have underfunded their schools? Over the last twenty years, Colorado has gone from having some of the best funded schools in the nation to one of the worst. The federal government may be stepping in to keep some of our school districts from collapsing.

It would not surprise me if Wisconsin students are still getting more money per capita than Colorado students.; March 4, 2010 at 7:10 PM

Anonymous said...: I think is silly for the Feds to give more money to say Milwaukee or Racine when the schools are so bad, and the Teacher Unions only care about themselves.
