Corps Of Engineers Cleared In Great Lakes Water Loss
Big drops in the levels of Lakes Michigan and Huron were caused by erosion and other factors, but not by US Army Corps of Engineers' dredging in the 1960's, according to a study released Friday and reported on by the Journal Sentinel.
The study said the water losses are not getting worse right now, and recent measurements have show some rebound.
More information here about the study, who funded it and related matters.
I predict there will be continuing controversy about the issue.
