Milwaukee needs to get on top of this. If we can be the design and construction camp for exploitation of wind on the Mid-Lake Plateau, we would put our city at the forefront of off shore wind technology. Wind combined with superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) system can be a reliable alternative energy source.
Joe as I agree with you that wind is a great power source for the State and will bring jobs/investment.
It will not be in Milwaukee due to the high taxes poor school system and high crime.
My Guess is the New North area and Central Wisconsin will be getting the jobs and investments.
If I may now would be the time to fight for lower taxes and schools that teach kids basic skills. Then Milwaukee might have a chance
