A Walker Endorsement In The Senate Primary?
He says in DC he's thinking about it.
Drama!
Imagine the back-channel phone calls, the gossip and pressure.
How far our state has fallen when Scott Walker's endorsement might mean something, but I said the other day it makes sense in the world of far-right politicking to back Hovde - - the goal being to install a junior RoJo in the Senate - - but would make news if he endorsed Tommy, since it would show that Walker can still play the old party loyalty game.
Even more news if he backed Neumann, but there's no chance that happens, since Neumann beat Walker up in the 2010 gubernatorial primary and lost the last two statewide races he entered.
Polling and ego will drive Walker's decision - - namely what's in it for Walker first, then for a candidate.
And it all makes Tammy Baldwin look good by comparison.

It would appear that he did in the comments he made.
Hedge Fund Hovde is the type of idle rich type that Scotty has always aspired to be (and given how he's always avoiding his elected job, he seems to be living that life now).
But more likely, it's just the sociopath looking for attention. And while a Walker endorsement probably wins a primary filled with brain-dead GOP zombies, it won't do so well with the general public, especially when Walker gets indicted this Fall.
The fact that Walker is spending so much time elsewhere goes along with this extended vacation that the Republicans are taking, ignoring the purpose of their job, which is to legislate. The Democrats take over the Senate, which wrecks their whole way of ramming through rotten legislation. Weren't the Republicans the ones with all the complaints about public servants being overpaid, etc?
They just want all the credit for job creation. Their job has been a complete failure, other than removing public sector jobs.
Seeing Scott and Tommy as allies will certainly be odd; Hovde is less a maverick than a creep. Tea Partiers want to seem principled, like their ideas aren't just about grubbing money.
If you want to talk about avoiding an elected job....
Obama played his 104th round of golf today.
But I guess that really doesn't matter considering he will become unemployed in 3 months.
How is this a mystery. The Kochs want Hovde. Scott wants Hovde.

How can any conservative not support a Koch candidate, even if all they do is drive the liberals into a further state of insanity.

RD: The question for conservatives is this: Is Hovde conservative or radical right? The TEA party loves him. That makes him radical in my book.
