Kedzie's Endorsement Of Scott Walker Undermined By Two Words: John Doe

I've been following the lock-step with which Sen. Neal Kedzie has marched with Scott Walker as the Legislature prepares to send Walker the bills he wants, with Kedzie in the lead, to put mining and development, with less regulation and citizen involvement, closer to public waterways.

Kedzie really got cozy with Walker during their 2010 campaigns, and Ill bet Kedzie would like to take back these words still on the Kedzie campaign website he addressed to Walker as "a colleague and a friend."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 10, 2010
Kedzie Endorses Scott Walker for Governor
...Scott carried his principled ideas and values to the Office of County Executive in the Wisconsin’s most populated county, and led the charge to reform Milwaukee County government – a government fraught with institutional corruption and elected officials who forgot the reason why they entered public service. Scott’s leadership in this regard was a testament to his character and devotion to the people he serves, and he will bring that same passion to the East Wing of the State Capitol.
By the way, the secret campaign and fund-raising apparatus running illegally as alleged by John Doe prosecutors in Scott Walker's office suite - - 25 feet from Scott Walker's office door - - had been in service since October 16, 2009 - - or almost nine months before Kedzie's pious endorsement for Walker.

Words probably written by or vetted by the Walker campaign, whose operatives were also campaigning on state time from Walker's office, prosecutors have alleged.
