Calling All Milwaukee Aldermen, County Board Supervisors...

I'm going to repost this item from July 2nd, especially since budget preparations are underway and SEWRPC will be expecting its regular Milwaukee County quiet transfer later this year of a gob of property taxes in the $440,000-range.

SEWRPC Questions For Milwaukee Aldermen, County Board Supervisors

Given another example of SEWRPC's pro-suburban biases, and weak land use focus:

1. Whatever happened to that Milwaukee Common Council unanimous resolution asking its lobbying corps to push a legislative, structural reform to address SEWRPC representation and spending issues?

2. And what happened to the County Board resolution calling for a state legislative performance audit of SEWRPC, since the County sends SEWPRC more than $400, 000 a year in tax revenues (half collected in the city, fyi) ?

I raised some these issues more than two years ago.
