Waukesha Water Application Set For Later This Week, Or Next Week

I received the response below a few minutes ago by email from Waukesha Water Utility General Manager Dan Duchniak about whether Waukesha's Lake Michigan diversion application had yet gone to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

The application - - which Duchniak had said recently was undergoing minor changes - - was approved by Waukesha's Common Council on April 8th - - including permission to make such changes administratively and without a repeat Council vote, Duchniak said:

"It did not go yet, we are in the process of printing the final version with all of the attachments and it should go out and be available on the web site by the end of this week or early next week."

Reminds me of an itinerant chicken plucker who was set to the task as the sun rose.

Shortly before noon and the break for lunch, the farmer checked on progress and production: "How many of 'em plucked, so far?

"When I finish this one and one more, I'll have two".
