Gun Dealers Profiting From Election Hysteria

Handgun sales are rising after the November 4th election.

FDR had something to say in hard times decades ago about fearing fear, and it seems his words were timeless.

And FDR never talked about disarming the citizens.

But you may read history a bit differently.

I'm not aware that anyone's right to bear arms has been abridged, and the Supreme Court recently upheld the 2nd Amendment in the DC gun case.

Let's not get caught up in believing one's own propaganda.

I think there is fear-driven purchasing going on: the biggest threat to our domestic security these days is from Wall Street con artists.

As much as your are right about Wall Street con artists...
I feel strongly that The Son Of God plans to bad many types of Firearms (And look how peaceful Chicago is with all there anti-gun laws)
I have no worries but now the time to buy your magazines and ammo.
And " A government should fear the people not the people fear the government"

The next two years will be interesting in 2010 the right wing backlash should wipe out anything Obama does get done, an attack on US soil by any Islamic group only makes that happen faster

I'm not so sure that the run on guns is about 2nd Amendment issues. Gun nuts that I know would be hunkering down to protect their pile of firewood, their last pound of rice, potatoes and onions, and want to have the option of shooting a wild turkey out of the neighbor's bird-feeder for the perceived next reality show version of life, when they see the banks evaporating and the laid off GM auto-workers rampaging through neighborhoods, stealing rationed gasoline, heating oil and sugar, while "fast-stop," stores see their shelves emptied of the last six-packs on earth.

FDR forgot to mention we had good reason to fear him, but then I'm just a disappointed Wilkie supporter.
