About Underwood Creek and Wastewater: We Get A Lot Of Precip Already 'Round Here

Waukesha says it will shut off the wastewater flow down Underwood Creek in Wauwatosa if flooding might be in the forecast, but there had better be an engineer and a meterologist on duty round-the-clock:

Milwaukee sees rain or snow more on more days than almost every other city in the US - - chart here - - and some of those recent 100-year-storms - - three between 1997 and 2008 - - arrived more than once a century, aina.

This is but one of many problems with Waukesha's plan to divert water from Lake Michigan - - beginning with the fact that the application is in the middle of a curious six-week completion delay.
