Multiple-Murder Stories Enable Ugly Commenters

The Internet has empowered anonymous people to blog and comment on others' blogs or at news sites, and nowhere has that been more true of late than on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's stories about the shocking quadruple murders of two young city children, their mother and a second woman.

You can begin to peruse the comments at this site, and get a reading on some of the anger that is out there in the world, the city and now available online.

Interesting James the only thing disturbing you about this horrific story is some meaningless blog posting.

That we have sub-humans such as Laster & Branes is what bothers me.

At least Brittney Robertson received her just reward.

Of course the whole thing disturbs me. I thought the comments that were so insensitive to the mother raised an issue for the newspaper, and the community at large.

Don't so easily jump to a conclusion, Anon Jim.

Ok - my apologies for jumping to an incorrect conclusion.

Have to agree with you btw - why I don't read open blogs too much - the content of some of the replies can make one's eyes bleed.

And once again I would like to compliment you on your blog - you do a good job of not letting idiotic posts thru.

Although I dare say, some would disagree considering you post mine.
