Wisconsin Is Parsing Clean Air Compliance, Not Attaining It

This rationalizing dirty air in the state is plain embarrassing. Wisconsin is going backwards on environmental stewardship.

We've had numerous dirty air alerts since the fall; having the state's regulators fall into step with the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce on the issue is a total sellout.

Put goggles and a breathing mask on Miss Forward.

What we need is more ethanol. Ooh, wait, that's not good either. Damn.

I've written several times that corn-based ethanol is wasteful of energy and water, with other sources far more promising.

Those producers don't have ADM's clout, I'm afraid.
