GOP again embracing its Death Cult identity

[5/5/2020 update: Chris Christie joins the death party's party.]
-----------------------
I've said several times - here and here - that Wisconsin Republican leaders' disregard for their fellow citizens' survival in the face of the persistent Covid-19 pandemic has turned the Party of Lincoln (more self-pitying, horrifying and sadly-history making irony on that score, here) into a Death Cult.

More proof emerges about that sickening embrace by Republicans nationally comes as these two facts emerge:

Trump, with the aid and comfort of his feckless, hypocritical BadgerLand clerks

pushing for the premature mass exposure of Wisconsinites to Covid-19 while our state's data is stuck on serious, is cheerleading for the nation's 'reopening' knowing the remaining experts in his vanity administration are projecting a daily death toll of 3,000 in another 30 days, reports The New York Times Monday.

The Trump administration projects about 3,000 daily deaths by early June.

As President Trump presses for states to reopen their economies, his administration is privately projecting a steady rise in the number of cases and deaths from the coronavirus over the next several weeks, reaching about 3,000 daily deaths on June 1, according to an internal document obtained by The New York Times, nearly double from the current level of about 1,750.
That's a 9/11 body count, doubling what we've already been through. Are we inured to this level of horror?

Do we let Trump and his gravediggers with a boost from the likes of the hyper-partisan-litigating-free-loading name-calling Fitzgerald and Vos and gun-rights 'protesters' at the State Capitol - -
The drive-in rally, called Operation Gridlock,” was organized and supported by Ben Dorr, a Minnesota gun rights activist and the political director for the Wisconsin Firearms Coalition. CBS 58 reported on Dorr’s influence on April 22.
- - steer public policy that sanitizes and normalizes this level of travesty?

The November election will not come fast enough for the scores of thousands of Americans who will have died on the alter of Trump's insatiable ego.

I was making cloth masks for family and friends with whatever I had on hand when I realized that we are going to be wearing masks for years because of the way the GOP is treating us. So I ordered supplies because unfortunately, we all will be making and wearing masks for the foreseeable future. It didn't have to be this way.

It will be interesting to see the Wis. SC try to weasel out of siding with their gop masters. If they open up the state and everything goes to hell it will be on their heads. Then the resignations will begin.
