Maverick Gets Chic-Chic Freebies
When George W. Bush told us to go shopping after 9/11, Sarah Palin just kept on buying.
Just not with her own money.
That's reforming' and stylin'.
More later on the taxpayer-paid vacations for the family. I see a pattern emerging, and the inspiration seems to be one Ted Stevens.

It's disconcerting that as Palin implodes, with the public disclosure that she has used her political positions, from Governor to Vice-Presidential candidate, as her own piggy bank, that somehow polls are showing McCain gaining. When the "Joe the plumber" story was mentioned at the debate, I did not think it would be persuasive because not many people are worried about paying more taxes on their income over $250,000. Perhaps now that everyone knows 'Joe' is not a licensed plumber, makes more like $40,000-$70,000, owes back taxes and is not some confused Independent, but actually voted for McCain in the primaries, they identify with him more. It is easier, perhaps, but sad, that more voters can identify with a liar than a high wage earner. Welcome to a Republican led America. Let's hope change will manage to stay ahead in importance when people go to the polls.
