Scientist Says Lead Poisoning, Crime Linked
It wasn't too long ago that the City of Milwaukee lost its lawsuit against lead paint manufacturers.
The scientific research referenced in this Washington Post story strongly correlating lead contamination to criminal behavior could have made a good exhibit for the city. Or in an appeal?

This also made me think about all the postings flying back and forth some weeks ago, about violence in Milwaukee. You do have to wonder whether lead contamination plays a role in that - and frankly what other unintended consequences environmental pollution has on people, as well as on the environment.
