Hurricane Season Looms: Bush Administration Delays Forecasting Spending

The Bush administration can spend a billion dollars every four days in Iraq, but has delayed replacing an aging weather forecasting satellite that helps get people out of the way of approaching hurricanes.

Could there be any better example of the twisted priorities that govern the people who govern the public?

Have our leaders such short memories that they don't remember Katrina?
