A competitive WI Dem. primary in April can weaken right-wing St. Sup. Ct. control
It's not clear at this point on Super Tuesday evening who is the Democratic Party's presidential front-runner or if that leader can hold it through the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee this July.
But this much is clear:
A competitive Biden vs. Sanders contest moving forward means that Democrats in Wisconsin will vote in droves in the April 7th Wisconsin presidential primary.
And that should mean a heavy turnout for Jill Karofsky,
the more progressive candidate running against Daniel Kelly, the Scott Walker-appointed incumbent in the non-partisan general election for a seat on the State Supreme Court which is also on the April 7th ballot.
Walker & Co. tried unsuccessfully to manipulate that schedule:
And it just might play an even larger role nationally: which I wrote about recently:
Plenty of reasons to make it a protest vote, as well as a positive vote for good candidates up and down the ballot.
And Ron Johnson's fresh Rudi Guiliani impersonation gives Biden voters in Wisconsin a fresh incentive to send a message:

Here is the problem: The Democratic Party in Wisconsin has had its butt kicked so much that they have become incompetent. I am not talking about most of the candidates but the party itself. In my district we will be having a race for the US House between Tom Tiffany, who is not well liked and viewed as an idiot by a good number of people, and Tricia Zunker. A lot of votes were cast against him in the primary, by the way. The election is not far off and Zunker has zero name recognition at this point. There are now finally a handful of signs in the area. I am not a member of either party and am completely disgusted at what has become of the GOP, but unless I actively seek information on Zunker, I will find nothing. Is she doing any town halls, has she been through any of our communities, is she even running????
There are, or were since that ship has sailed, several Dem possibilities who would have taken Tiffany to the wood shed. It is really simple Democrats, You will lose every race you don't run in. This one was easily winnable.
