You mean that even high speed rail aids local development? Thanks to this blog, I knew that light rail had led to economic development in Charlotte. But I had wondered about the development potential of high speed rail, which I have supported for its potential to aid regional development.
Wow - according to Mr. Sill there are 550k people within 50 miles of LaCrossse who have no access to Minneapolis, Milwaukee, or Chicago.
I did not know that.
