Ozaukee County Board Embarrasses Itself

It weirdly apologizes for another body's support of an Arizona boycott in the wake of that state's controversial 'papers-please' immigration law - - that's bad enough - - but many supervisors took a powder and didn't even vote.

Man, oh man: that's hardly leadership.

Take a tough vote, one way or the other: that's the job.

But don't walk away.

Unless you're leaving for good.

Maybe Peggy West could mediate a compromise between MATC and the Ozaukee County board.

But then again I doubt she could locate either.

And walking out was the proper thing to do - the time wasted by both body's is an embarassment.

The Supervisors job is the business of Ozaukee Couty after all, not this horse manure.

None of these boards should even be getting involved.

Why vote on it?
