We Can Get Used To Wind Farms Offshore

The world is changing, and with it comes alterations to the landscape that are tolerable and, from an emergy conservation perspective, highly desirable.

A generation later, no one will take offense at what will have always been there.

This will hold true off Lake Michigan, too.

If you put wind turbines on the Lake Michigan Mid-Lake Plateau, they would be so far away from the shore as to be below the horizon for someone standing on the beach. The Plateau is about 20+ miles east of Milwaukee.

It is possible they would be visible from the top of the tallest condos.
