As planet roasts, hostile Sen. Indifferent, (R-WI), can't be bothered.

As vital polar ice disappears, and wildfires incinerate forests and entire communities in the US West - (not to mention globally in Russia, Greece and Turkey) - "Code Red" is a good Google shortcut to the latest scientific report echoing decades of earlier work on human-caused global warming and climate change that is  here and now.

No bullish*t; that's for real.

With Johnson, it began more than a decade ago when the Republican first ran for the Senate and he regularly made fringe comments about climate change, such as that it was due to sunspots. 

When the pandemic hit, Johnson, then the chair of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee, held three hearings on the crisis, and the senator and his hand-picked witnesses made claims unsupported by solid evidence.
