On Awarding DNR Grants, Why Not Consult With 2010 Scott Walker?

Gov. Walker said he's looking for the right way to award DNR recreation grants since handing them over through nearly-invisible budget amendments to unqualified groups that misrepresent their credentials fell rather flat last week.

How's about using the "transparency' method then Milwaukee County Executive Walker told an Oneida County newspaper three years ago to the day tomorrow - - talk about a coincdence! - - that he'd been living:
Transparency

When he says he believes in government transparency, it's not just a campaign slogan, Walker said.

"I don't just say that, I've lived it," he said."

  1. I would only hope that those Sportsman for Walker take a good hard look and reconsider their support for him in light of this issue. There are way to many Hard working Outdoor organizations that Volunteer their time and passion to continue the tradition that passes on from Generation to Generation, Just to be denied the chance because our Gov chose to Fund a Scam, While slapping the legit organizations in the face. The governor mentioned other ideas to look at, Why not start and include the search with actual input from the Many org's within the State that aren't interested in corrupt funneling of money for Political purposes, But for actually educating our Future generations in our traditions of Outdoor activities?
