He discovers that a student he'd nominated for a seat on the UW Board of Regents had signed the recall petition two years ago - - Gasp!! - - and withdraws the appointment.
Boy, Walker, a minister's son, showed that kid - - another minister's son - - who's boss.
There was another Republican who understood the value of a having a team of rivals, but Walker is without any sense of proportion and behaved as if intimidated by the suggestion of disagreement - - even surrounding an appointment unlikely to have any actual dissonant policy consequence.
Wow, that's straight out of Hugo Chavez's playbook.

So much for that fake "bipartisan" cookout 1 year ago. Scotty doesn't seem so "Unintimidated" by the recall signers, does he? Wuss.

ReplyDeleteApparently they don't teach you at Platt that your actions have consequences. Either that or he was so uneducated that he didn't know he was signing a public document where everyone would be aware of his extremist views.
That recall list is a gift that keeps on giving.
Walker can do anything he wants to do, since winning the recall has empowered his badass.
