The Face Of Wisconsin's GOP Leadership And Breakdown

Wisconsin, firmly in the grip of extremists with their ugliness on display. Hat tip, Madison Capital Times:

  2. If the tables were turned and similar things happened while a Democratic-majority Senate were voting on a bill regarding workers' rights, all the shouting from the Senate President would be regarded as "dictatorial," I'm sure.

  3. So the "extremist" guy is the one who wants to restore order to the roll call, versus the side that keeps interrupting it.

    Seems logical.

  4. The extremist is the guy who steamrollered a roll call vote because he is afraid of a debate on the subject.

The mask slipped in that photo.

  5. It is a telling photo ready-made for posters and ads.

  6. And billboards. The question is, who will use it? The Republicans in a primary against Ellis or the Dems?

  7. LOL "Restore order to the roll call?" Did you ever learn about government and how it is suppose to work here? Yes, there are two or three parties, but the idea is to work together to create what is best for all. Unlike that, THIS is fascism pure and simply being foisted on us, and they are getting more and more and more bold with breaking their own rules, changing the laws so they can steal everything in sight, and never ONCE taking ANYTHING from the Democrats. Wake up. Ellis is breaking rules here, and stealing democracy. And are you saying GOD wants me to be forced to have a vaginal ultrasound, administered by a non trained person (get it? doesnt even have to have a medical degree) to shove a probe up my vagina and tell me all about my fetis? Why the hell aren't they telling women who are thinking of practicing their right over their own bodies about the TRUTHS of having a child, the financial responsibilities, the emotional tests involved with carrying a baby and keeping it....especially if she is pregnant because someone raped her? Make sure to tell her Walker and the fascists will throw her off healthcare, punish her if she slips up even once if she is in need of food stamps, what she can buy on food stamps, and how easily they will make it to send her kid right from school straight to private prisons.

Really? If this is YOUR God, then your God is also the devil.

WAKE THE HELL UP WISCONSIN. Republican Tea Party Fascists will destroy us all, from the top down.

  9. Why are some women so dumb that they can not figure out that intercourse can lead to an unwanted pregnancy?

There are countless measures people can use to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, even if they want to keep spreading their legs, and don't have the financial means or self responsibility needed to raise a child.

You further show your ridiculousness by challenging the notion that we should be allowed place parameters on what people can buy with food stamps, that WE are paying for. I don't have a problem helping people out, but when I see alcohol being purchased as "general food," and then the family driving away in a SUV crossover that cost $35-40k, then yes, I have a problem with it.

And if you want to talk about "working together," in government, look no further than Obamacare. Were you here calling for bipartisanship during that whole ordeal?

It is time for you to take some personal responsibility in your life and stop blaming others for societal problems that really stem from poor personal choices made by individuals. We are tired of paying for other people's poor decisions in life.

  11. James, you can't cut off the self-proclaimed Voice of Reason on This Blog! Rayguns might need to make additional reasonable comments or instruct us further in the reproductive arts.

PS: Thanks for pulling back the curtain on this maniac.

  12. It makes a great poster for the Pro-Choice Argument, with one of two headlines:

Do you want THIS man conducting a transvaginal probe of your daughter?

Uncle Mike wants YOU to have a transvaginal probe!

I don't think anyone can blame you for that.

So the GOP has written off African-Americans for decades, are insisting on continuing to alienate Hispanics (the fastest growing demographic in the country) and now seem to be determined to follow the same path with women. It's like Misogynist Tourette's: they can't even talk about it without saying something repellent, and when they do they seem to not even be able to recognize that they SAID something repellent.

And that's even before we get to the legislation they continue to try and ram through.
