If by eviscerated he means Trump's 3rd rate attorneys used lies, distortions, and sprinkled a little truth in very questionable contexts, sure.
Well, if absent during the prior day's presentation but present for the defense, I suppose this terrible misapprehension of the actual strength of the entire prosecution's case made might be possible.
Weren't these absent Senators provided the 3rd day transcripts and access to referenced videos and evidence of participant statements?
Have ANY of these Senators sat down with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy or V.P. Pence to hear how they perceived January 6th's events and Trump's words, actions and inactions?
Sorry, but I have to ask: Why are so many people assuming that if Ron Johnson runs for a third term in 2022 (which he most certainly will), he will be beaten? Some even think he’ll get his butt kicked. Why? Yes, Biden beat a clearly terrible Trump here—BARELY. Yes, Evers beat a clearly terrible Walker here—BARELY. The Marquette Law School poll in October 2020 showed Johnson with roughly the same approval as Tammy Baldwin.
Who will his opponent be? Tom Nelson? (Zzzzzzzz...) Right now, the only person I see beating Johnson is someone like Mandela Barnes—a young, energetic, charismatic black man. Yes, the “old, safe, boring white guy” angle did work with Biden and Evers. But especially since it’s a midterm election with a Democrat in the White House, we really need to shoot for the stars.
Ron Johnson is so stupid and deceitful that those are the traits he thinks are valuable. Trumps lawyers were not very sharp and were constantly telling lies. RoJo values that.
The next issue is who can beat him. If close to half the voting population liked Walker and Trump, they also have voted Sen Nincompoop twice already, they will again vote for a person who is stupid and deceitful. They like to be lied to and they do not value intelligence. The goal must be a candidate who the Dems are excited about and the middle will not just vote for but will promote. Is there a real businessman who would run? Not someone who married into a business and then sold it for millions with insider information but someone with the courage to show what a dirtbag RoJo really is.

Rojo is a clown, Trumps butt-kisser and village idiot. All in one.

I like Gwen Moore to run against him.
ReplyDeleteRojo continues to wet himself in public with his latest swipe at Mitt Romney.
