WI GOP to the public; enjoy the mediocrity.
Republicans in the Wisconsin legislature oppose Gov. Tony Evers' budget, claiming the state cannot afford increases in basic programs which they and Scott Walker deliberately froze, including road repairs, education and state shared revenue.
The GOP subtext: Scott Walker is still the Governor, so we will cement his anti-public sector legacy and advance his backward-looking agenda.
So get ready for more years of public program starvation and enforced mediocrity, as Minnesota leaves us in the dust, farm bankruptcies are on the rise and millennials want the very kinds of public transit options that Republican legislators like Robin Vos hate.
