“Protecting our waters and growing our economy requires cooperation across borders,” said Governor Evers. “I look forward to working with my fellow Governors and Premiers on behalf of the entire region....”
The Conference of Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers unites the chief executives from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Québec and Wisconsin. Through the Conference, the Governors and Premiers work as equal partners to grow the region’s $6 trillion economy and protect the world’s largest system of surface fresh water.
The Conference builds upon more than 30 years of work by the Council of Great Lakes Governors to encourage and facilitate environmentally responsible economic development.
The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers will hold their next Leadership Summit from June 14-16, 2019, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Further information on this event and the Conference’s work is available at www.gsgp.org.
GSGP is a meaningless organization. The Waukesha case proved that not one state is willing to defend the charter. Foxconn furthers that belief.
