Last week I wrote about the public land in Kohler Andrae State Park which the DNR and Natural Resources Board have agreed to let a private developer use to complete a proposed golf course complex.
Here's a photo of the actual site taken recently by former park superintendent Jim Buchholz - - background, here - - within the park where he says the developer's 30,000-sq.-ft., vehicle storage and equipment building would be located. Does this land look expendable inside a state park to you?
And this land inside the park, too, is part of what the state says the public doesn't need. Does it look like some sort of surplus or underutilized acreage to this early-spring, cold-day hiker?
