Appeals Court panel quickly tilts election Walker's way

After just a few hours of 'deliberation,' a three judge Federal Appeals court panel in Chicago helps the Republican forces of voter suppression by green-lighting Voter photo ID with the gubernatorial election just two months away.

Taken together with the far-right, pro-Walker reflex at the State Supreme Court, it's another slam at judicial fairness and equal legal protections for all.

  1. If this isn't an excuse to rile up every casual Dem voter, nothing is. The GOPs know they can't win this election on their ideas, so they're trying to rig the vote.

Let's make it backfire, as it shows the power-above-everything nature that defines the slime of today's Wisconsin GOP

  2. I just spent the last half hour sobbing. The elections is now rigged; all the judges are bought.

I am about ready to give up.

  3. Do not give up - the Republicans are counting on that! Perhaps this will awake a sleeping giant: eligible voters who tend not to vote in off-year elections. It would be nice to see the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel take up the cause and encourage everyone to do whatever it takes to exercise their patriotic duty to vote. An undue burden has been placed on many, but if they can find away to obtain the required ID and vote, they will make all the difference.

  4. Don't give up. Get angry. This can be a game-changer for the good guys if we play it right, because it lays bare just how evil these people are, and how little they care about democracy and the high levels of voting that make Wisconsin special.

This can tick off a whole lot of people who usually don't pay much attention to politics, and get them to boot out all of the bums that backed this suppression. Make em pay.
