It's standard operating procedure for Walker, having begun when his campaign for student body president in 1988 was hit with ethics violations.
Straight through his Milwaukee County Executive tenure with law-breaking underway in his office suite by personal appointees, to the governorship, the Scott Suder/Sportsmensgate scandal and the serial John Doe probes - - all documented here - - and now to the social media history of a fired campaign finance official whom he'd praised in his book for her social media skills.
Wisconsin is open for double-talk.
Dems should release a 'running loop' ad of Scott Walker's "I didn't know" statements. Just put up the headlines ('aide convicted', 'aide fired') followed by the accompanying "Well, as you know I didn't know/wasn't involved" statement, as far back as they can find the connections.
ReplyDeleteSince his historical lack of oversight of his staff isn't getting much attention, people not following the Gov's antics might notice a pattern.
