GTAC Mining Hails "Magic" Of Its Plan
I read through this long, must-read description of the proposed GTAC open pit iron ore mine operation and reclamation plan, thought about writing something satirical about a Disney World Up North/Magic Mountain in the making, and was floored to see a company spokesman steal my thunder:
“People say how are you going to avoid impacts on these streams,” said [Bob] Seitz. “The magic of this is that we stay away from Ballou Creek, and we stay away from Tyler Forks.”
No,they didn't steal your thunder. You need to illustrate their whole line of reasoning compared to real science for your readers to grasp the magic in their "plans."
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great plan and the sooner they get started the better. I wonder they have a special disposal plan for the ecoterrorists.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on it.
ReplyDeleteVERMIN.
ReplyDeleteThese men want to "give" us a recreational lake as they turn their backs on the greatest freshwater lake in the world and, if not stopped, will pollute it with sulphuric acid, mercury, lead and arsenic.
GTAC is your mortal enemy; make no mistake.
Yeah, those “ecoterrorists” who want to save water for everybody, even you — better have a plan to dispose of them. So, Anonymous at 11:45am and James Rowen, do you work for GTAC? Or do you just believe in magic because they say so? Have you ever heard of the term “groundwater”? Do you know the most basic facts about how streams come into existence?
ReplyDeleteJames is the original poster. He is likely working on a plan to expose the likely damage. Definitely not working for GTAC.
ReplyDeleteHaving purchased the Mining Law of their dreams from the Hillbilly Caucus in Madison GTAC apparently considers us residents of Ashland County as consenting adults.
