Will Rebecca Kleefisch's Marriage Beliefs Make Supreme Court Brief?
After all, she's Wisconsin's Lt. Gov. now and same-sex marriage is headed to the US Supreme Court, so...
"This is a slippery slope in addition to that -- at
what point are we going to OK marrying inanimate objects? Can I marry
this table, or this, you know, clock? Can we marry dogs? This is
ridiculous."
It's been over four years since Sarah Palin trotted out these ludicrous and hateful talking points on the national stage. Rebecca will need to come up with some new ones if she doesn't want to become the laughing stock of the Wisconsin Republican party.
I don't know the answers to her questions about tables ,clocks and dogs.
ReplyDeleteWhat I do know is there is proof positive that morons can be part of a marriage.
Proof of the first half of the union is simple. Hey Lt Gov. check out the mirror. What do you see? One moron?
Look here to see the other half of the union. The second moron. http://wp.me/p2AlLW-1jo
In fact it occurs to me that at least the clock has a face, hands and is right twice a day. Giving it a better daily record than the the morons above.

ReplyDeleteIn The Princess Bride, Westley asked Buttercup, "Did you say, 'I do'?"
ReplyDeleteNo, they'd sort of skipped that part.
Westley concluded, "Then you're not married. If you didn't say it, you didn't do it."
Marriage requires the consent of two adults.
Inanimate objects, animals, children, and dead people can't give legal consent.
So that supposed "slippery slope" argument is nonsensical.
