When he says he believes in government transparency, it's not just a campaign slogan, Walker said "I don't just say that, I've lived it," he said.By the time that interview took place, a shortfall of funds had already been discovered in a veterans fund managed from Walker's office, and Walker had already ignored County ethics' advice to remove the fund from his office and personally it handed to long-time aide Tim Russell, who now stands accused of stealing from it.
Transparency?
Please.
I find it a delicious coincidence that Walker's State of the State lie fest takes place on the same day that his real estate buddy Jensen must decide whether he wants to cooperate with the John Doe investigation or go back to jail. I'm guessing he won't chose the latter.
ReplyDeleteWho is the source for the "secret" John Doe investigation?
ReplyDeleteAren't the details of these supposed to be sealed? Seriously?
To RD: I am sure you know that the source or sources remain confidential, and that a good journalist like Dan Bice and his paper will report what they can verify.
ReplyDeleteAll reporters know that the Capitol, the courthouse and City Hall leak like sieves.
