Outdoor air can be escape from Covid, but not ozone/smog

Outdoor exercise Monday, perhaps Tuesday is not recommended for people with underlying cardio-vascular issue. Often these alerts - the warning at level Orange is for Kenosha, Milwaukee and Racine Counties - are expanded to other counties, or into consecutive days when temperatures and humidity are high.

Don't forget that the air in the Foxconn zone can be more polluted than 'normal' because then-EPA administrator Scott Pruitt granted loosened air standards to facilitate Walker's pet Foxconn project and save it money on smog pollution-prevention machinery.

More about ozone, here.
People most at risk from breathing air containing ozone include people with asthma, children, older adults, and people who are active outdoors, especially outdoor workers. In addition, people with certain genetic characteristics, and people with reduced intake of certain nutrients, such as vitamins C and E, are at greater risk from ozone exposure.
Breathing ozone can trigger a variety of health problems including chest pain, coughing, throat irritation, and airway inflammation. It also can reduce lung function and harm lung tissue. Ozone can worsen bronchitis, emphysema, and asthma, leading to increased medical careLearn more about health effects.
