Impeachment juror Ron Johnson displays his attentiveness

We'd been aware that presidential apologist Ron Johnson was knee-deep in Trump's Ukraine web

but we now also know that Senator Johnson, suddenly an institutionalist, has been listening closely and is shocked, shocked I say, at some of what he's been hearing, as CNN reports:
At one point during the debate, [Democratic House impeachment manager Jerrold] Nadler accused Republican senators of "voting for a cover-up."
"So far, I'm sad to say, I see a lot of senators voting for a cover up. Voting to deny witnesses, an absolutely indefensible vote, obviously a treacherous vote," Nadler said...
"You don't come into the Senate and accuse senators of engaging in a cover-up or saying that we're on trial. No, we're not," the Wisconsin Republican said, calling the comments "jaw-dropping, couldn't really believe what we were hearing."

  1. I would like to have a discussion with Senator Johnson. I know many people who have and they all come away with the same feeling, that he is not intelligent. How can anyone not understand the "cover up".
    A) Trump is charged with an impeachable offense.
    B) His entire staff refuses to testify
    C) Therefore he is charged with obstructing justice
    D) The senate refuses to call witnesses because they do not want to find the truth yet they claim to be holding a fair hearing.
Ron Johnson is a complete moron. He should start every sentence with the word "dur".
Dur, how can we cover up something we aren't looking into. Dur, I mean we are looking in to but we have no witnesses who are close to Trump. Dur, we would call witnesses but that would take more time.
Anyone who is not disgusted by this entire circular argument is also a moron. We can all disagree on how bad an offense needs to be to remove the pres, but know one should disagree on calling witnesses who refused to follow subpoenas.
Also, how gutless are Cruz, Paul, and Rubio. "Hey Lying Ted, your wife is disgusting and your dad killed JFK, please support me."

  2. Every progressive for truth and justice needs to email RoJo and verbalize your disgust and let him know you will be voting against him!

  3. Actually, Ron Johnson, you DO go into the Senate and accuse liars, cowards, idiot-ideologues and corrupt puppets of being these very things, especially when you and the other Republican invertebrates reject accountability for flagrant, arrogant dis-service, and don't conduct Town Hall Meetings at which ordinary constituents remind you and your fellow out-of-touch, wannabe elitists that your shit stinks.

  4. If Russian Ronnie isn't part of a cover-up, then why dont they demand to see documents from the White House on these issues? Especially since one if the articles claims that THE WHITE HOUSE IS REFUSING TO HAND OVER INFORMATION.

To ask the question is to answer it. I also noticed RoJo was mentioned as being 1 of 4 members of Congress who signed onto a letter asking Trump "Why is this money being held back from Ukraine?" in September. He's strangely incurious about that now, even after OMB says the money was illegally withheld.

COMPLICIT. Ring up his local offices, folks (he's taken his DC phone off the hook).

  6. Yup, President Trump basically lied to RoJo's face about the withholding of the defense money to Ukraine and and Our Dumb Senator's response is, "Huh, what?" he idiots who voted for him didn't vote for a human being, they voted for a doormat -- one that says "Welcome NRA $$$" from one direction and "Добро пожаловать нра $$$" from the other. Dirty feet, dirty money, dirty lies about health care and tax cuts and national security -- what's the difference?
