I'd noted WI GOP State Sen. Scott Fitzgerald's predictable and persistent antipathy to meaningful gun violence control.
So on the eve of marches nationally projected as the biggest ever in favor of meaningful gun violence control, Fitzgerald announced the Senate whose calendar he controls would not take up a modest expansion of gun purchase background checks which already passed the State Assembly.
"I don't see it...moving forward,' said Fitzgerald, blinded by partisan loyalties to gun lobbies.
And don't ascribe Fitzgerald's failed calendaring to fatigue or overwork, as he's been bus these last 24 hours working to further fix state politics for his party.
