Make Trump WI GOP officials' 2018 running mate

Wisconsin voters during 2018 campaigns need to take a lesson from Virginia's balloting Tuesday and firmly attach Trump to Paul Ryan, Jim Sensenbrenner, Sean Duffy, Mike Gallagher, Glenn Grothman, all State Assembly members and Senators - - and especially to Scott Walker, who endorsed Trump at the 2016 Republican National Convention organized by Trump campaign chairman, paid Putin propagandist and now-indicted-and-alleged anti-US conspirator-and money-launderer Paul Manafort.

And, of course, progressive candidates need to run in favor of what Wisconsin used to stand for and must embrace again - - voting rights, access to health care, public education, fair taxes, and clean water.

  1. Wisconsin is not New Jersey nor is it Virginia. Trump is not the issue in Wisconsin, so running as “never Trump” Republicans won’t work. We want Democrats that run as FDR/Kennedy Democrats who believe in strong unions, strong public schools, strong environmental safety, strong pensions and financial equality. Obama Democrats brought us the GOP healthcare plan that diverts money from the Treasury to insurance companies and expanded and started new wars and protecting Wall Street predators. Bashing Trump is a fool’s exercise in Wisconsin because he’s popular here because he took on the GOP in Wisconsin and won. The formula is simple act like Democrats.

  2. To Alice in Blunderland - - which is why the last line of this post reads "And, of course, progressive candidates need to run in favor of what Wisconsin used to stand for and must embrace again - - voting rights, access to health care, public education, fair taxes, and clean water."
