Thoughts, prayers, ready, aim and 'check, please.'

There's this:
Thoughts and prayers with those affected by the tragic #MandalayBay attack Sunday night.
And also on his official Twitter account:

And this from a couple of weeks ago:
A Wisconsin Senate committee has passed a bill that would allow for the carrying of concealed weapons without a permit.
The Republican-controlled Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee voted 3-2 along party lines Tuesday to pass the measure. It now heads to the full Senate, which could take it up next month.
And this from Wisconsin Democracy Campaign:

Walker’s NRA Bankroll Topped $3.5 Million
Since Walker first became governor and the GOP took control of the legislature in 2011, they have made it quicker and easier for people to get guns by approving concealed carry and by abolishing the 48-hour waiting period to buy weapons. They have also provided greater legal protections for people who shoot trespassers in a home, business or vehicle. All of these measures were backed by the National Rifle Association, which contributed $49,575 and spent $3.6 million on outside electioneering activities on all candidates for statewide office and the legislature in Wisconsin between January 2008 and December 2015. Walker received $3.5 million of this support.
And this from 2015:
Governor Scott Walker on Wednesday signed into law a bill repealing Wisconsin’s 48-hour waiting period for handgun purchases, a measure supporters said will make buying a gun more convenient and opponents said will lead to increased violence.
Walker, a potential Republican candidate for president in 2016, also signed a bill that allows off-duty and retired law-enforcement officers to carry concealed guns on school grounds.
The signing of the repeal comes a week after a gunman killed nine worshippers in a historic African-American church in Charleston, South Carolina, in the latest mass shooting in the United States.

  1. Walker works for the NRA and numerous other wealthy donors. He carries their water and always responds: " YES MASTER!" We need Vinehout to bring Wisconsin back to what it had been before Walker and friends stripped us bare and sold off our parts....education, environment and economy.... when will people wake up to what these puppets are doing to our state?

  2. As a gun owner, I am completely disgusted by our jack ass governor's extreme stupidity. Yes, he is a moron. I have yet to hear from anyone who is in favor of his new concealed carry law. We need to fire his ass and toss him out on the street. Once he's out on the street he can freeze, starve, and be deathly ill, because according to his body RoJo, life is only a privilege. How has this state become so flipping stupid????

    1. This is well said. Walker is foolish and addicted to chasing money and power, hence the suckling up to the NRA. But why do people who actually appreciate the outdoors fall for his crap?

The fault lies with the people who vote GOP because of "guns" without giving a damn about nature or a stable society. We used to be smarter than that. This only changes if they get voted out en,masse
