WI GOP can toast Trump's Puerto Rican crisis mgmt.

[Updated from 9/30/17]] Our defective and dangerous Donald
Donald Trump Pentagon 2017.jpg
while vacationing again on the people's dime hit a new low with a personal, tweet storm attack on the courageous Mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico where desperate people are hanging on amid unprecedented hurricane wreckage by drinking storm-roiled creek water in 100-degree heat.

She begged for help to save lives, his ego begged for greater gratification.

Then he went out and played golf.

This is part of the dog-whistling, self-centered garbage Trump posted, though later in the day his commander on the ground disputed Trump and said the relief effort to date had been insufficient:

  1. ...want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort. 10,000 Federal workers now on Island doing a fantastic job.
  2. ...Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They....
  3. The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.

Are we surprised? This is the same man who, along with his father who carried a KKK rally arrest in his past, refused to rent apartments in New York City to dark-skinned people.

How many of the very people Trump is consigning to disease and death in Puerto Rico today had grandparents who were turned away by the Trumps from apartment rentals based on skin color decades ago?

The entire Trump Presidency is afflicted by his 'look-at-my-African-American over here' racist, misogynist, hate-the-poor-personality-disordered pre-existing conditions - - and Wisconsin GOP leaders, having observed Trump since his well-documented, racist birther days and watched him slime his way through the primaries, whether it was John McCain's torture in captivity or "little Marco" or "low-energy Jeb" or Carly Fiorina's face or a disabled reporter's gait - - knew precisely who Trump was and where this train wreck was headed.

For them, no problem. "Lock her up."

In June, Walker praised Trump, especially the President's tweeting:

Scott Walker says people outside Washington like Donald Trump
And added that because Twitter was an effective tool:
...he would not discourage the president from using the social media platform.
So it seems the right moment to etch into the permanent record that our state's GOP establishment continually savaged Hillary Clinton to help put Trump in the Presidency from which he savaged yet another female politician, San Juan's Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz.

Eight days to release gasoline and diesel fuel he'd made immediately available to storm-battered Texas, Louisiana and Florida.

An acting Homeland Security chief who bragged to media at the White House with talking points which sounded like Trump self-centered dictation that the rescue effort Trump had botched was "a good-news story."

An administration that has managed to do the impossible: Give George W. ("Katrina") Bush a run for the title of Cruelest, Most Doltish President.

So this bunch of mud-stained Puerto Rican catastrophe enablers atop Wisconsin government and the state GOP should be made to own the Russia-boosted monster in the White House.

After all, just last week they were still groveling before Trump, pledging their allegiance to his dream of upending Obamacare.

Now Trump has figured out a new way to strip people of their health care: keep the hospitals' electricity shut off, the clinics in rubble and the medicine chests bare.

And will the Walker-Ryan-Johnson-Trump team ever look at their victims and say, 'we did that?'

Maybe only if it were Wisconsin that Trump decided to abandon.
