So desperate for a 'win,' looking for a way to mollify Donald Trump and again spying another way to diminish Barack Obama's legacy which is Trump's #1 vindictive goal as I noted in November, Wisconsin's Tea Party US Senator
Ron Johnson joins a knot of Republican Senators who are trying to sneak through a last-ditch effort to kill Obamacare - - and substitute instead a federally-funded block grant scheme that would give governors - - mostly Republicans like Scott Walker - - life-and-death control over Medicaid and other health insurance elements.
This is the same guy who just voted against emergency hurricane aid for Texas and Florida, so there is that logic to Johnson's selfish, soulless consistency.

Since (no)Ron wants to allow states to choose who gets covered, can we take that down a few levels? Those of us who didn't vote for this keep our current coverage, while only the dopes who voted for Johnson have to deal with the deregulated, "high cost, low coverage" hell that will follow.
ReplyDeleteWait, that's not how this works? We'd be stuck with this garbage even though we didn't approve of it and know that it'll fail?
By the way, are we sure this amoral fool actually won last November? I'm starting to get serious suspicions, gicen that Johnson knew about Russian hacking and said ZERO to Wisconsin voters
Well said, Jake. He is an amoral fool and so are those who voted for him. Too bad the rest of us have to suffer. Have seriously thought about leaving Wisconsin, but realized that my vote and my voice are much more important here in Wisconsin than they would be in a blue state. We have to keep working to fend them off!
