It's important to remember when you absorb the ozone alert the WI DNR just posted for the Lakefront counties, below, that
a) it gives the lie to agency Secretary Cathy Stepp's recent gushing about Wisconsin's air quality, and b) rightwing Wisconsin GOP Gov. and big business bellhop Scott Walker and Stepp changed what had been a two-stage ozone art system to just the final warning, eliminating crucial information for people headed outdoors to exercise, or who have allergies, heart conditions, breathing problems and other health issues, that conditions were building towards the eventual dirty air alert.
I have been writing about this since these 'chamber of commerce mentality' toadies took control of the state and the DNR in 2011.
