…that Paul Ryan and Scott Walker and Ron Johnson would not be seen at a rally in Elkhorn with the defective, ignorant, racist, misogynistic, assaultive Donald Trump.
The biggest political story in Wisconsin is that while these elite Republican 'leaders' would not stand near the defective, ignorant, racist, misogynistic, assaultive Donald Trump, they still want him to be President of the United States, Commander-in-Chief of our military, and to stand in for the people in every conceivable forum across the globe.
Plenty of other Republicans have made the calculus and chosen correctly, whether for political or moral or practical reasons that Donald Trump is unfit to stand in for the people, but Wisconsin's GOP so-called leadership will not.
I'm not saying "cannot," because they can.
They choose not to, so while they won't be seen with or be photographed with Trump, they are fine with turning over the country and everyone's well-being to him.
(Photo taken before Trump's groping tape surfaced.)
That's worse than a double-standard.
It's having no standards at all.

Only McCain has unendorsed Trump so far.
